Woger Estate: A Legacy of Exceptional Coffee Production
Located at the picturesque foothills of Chikmagaluru, Woger Estate stands as a testament to over a century of coffee heritage. Acquired by B. A Saldanha and Sons in 1978, this former British estate is now meticulously managed by Norbert Saldanha and his son Nigel Saldanha, a skilled Q processor.
Surrounded by the tranquil beauty of a natural stream and lush green reserve forest, Woger Estate is a sanctuary for wildlife, shaded by majestic trees. Norbert and Nigel are committed to preserving their family’s legacy by focusing on sustainable farming methods to enhance the quality of their coffee.
Ripe coffee cherries are handpicked, processed using various techniques, and carefully shade-dried on African raised beds. Every step of the production process is overseen with precision and care, with the in-house coffee cupping lab ensuring that each batch meets the highest industry standards. At Woger Estate, the tradition of excellence in coffee production continues to thrive, creating an exceptional brew that is a true reflection of their dedication and expertise.
